I proposed the construction of my pond after 3 years without a pond, for this, I want to make it good because it is

the last pond for me.

facility is approximately 200,000 L with a waterfall of 15m long and 2.5m high plus and winter pond of 20.000L

filtration with two lines, first line with paper filter as mecanical filter and Japanese mats the second line with

drum filter and Japanese mats also, airlift fed of course, I provide special filter chambers, but we discus later on

With all the rain of the expense weeks, my wall is falling down, setback but yes we are going anyway, and a solution

is found

IMG_400

To begin with, setting up of scrap for the foundations of the wall and poured foundations

IMG_401

the form is visible, the circumference are now set

IMG_402

My submersible pump is slightly contaminated with clay

IMG_403

The concrete flows

IMG_404

walls begin to rise

IMG_405

The foundation of the pond bottom is in place

IMG_406

IMG_407

First two blocks from the anterior part of masonry, the wall height To get to two blocks higher in bowls

IMG_408

Today, the layer 3 is mounted

IMG_409

view of the pond for the terrace

IMG_410

the creation of the filter chamber is started

IMG_411

IMG_412

A view of the dry portion of the rear to the front of the pond, 15m swim in a straight line

So much for today. more later

why do you say that?
Is an automated system, roll forward on its own when it gets dirty.
In a new pond without plants and low organic load, is a good choice for me, different if you installed a paper filter in a existent pond, in the first time the roll will always be dirty.

Nice ya!!
I'm interested in understanding: will you use only concrete or will place pvc/epdm to insulate?

seems energy is not so expensive in belgium on the base of your filtration system... :P

what about the airlift in terms of efficiency, reliability and energy costs?

Valerio the paper filter is automated to change and waste the clogged paper by itself

I don't make the final choice on he sealing, it will be EPDM or polyester or PEHD depends on the m² prise

no because the airlift

what about the airlift in terms of efficiency, reliability and energy costs?

You can tell on 10w for 10m³ to 11m³ flow in the best case, I will use 6 airlift as pumping the pond with 2 times 60l/min air pumps, in this case normally I expect to have 90.000l/h flow with 120W - 150W with only 4 airlift in working, so I have reserve of 45 m³/h with de two last airlif and one air pump more, never now watt you need in time
In term of energy consumption the airlift is the grand champion, but to do this, you need, 1.8m deep with airlift of 1.7m hight and gravity filter system

Valerio the paper filter is automated to change and waste the clogged paper by itself
